To all the girls that worry about losing
I know plenty of girls just like me,
That at night rub lotion unto their thickness
and wish it gone.
Thinking that if they would just lose the weight they’d lose the insecurity too.
sugar, it doesn’t always work like that
Someone should’ve told us.
Someone should have prepared us for this mess.
self -love isn’t taught during gym class and
there isn’t a mathematical way to measure self -worth.
The good news is society ain’t ever own us.
We own us.
anyone whose truly worthy,
will love us.
Stretchmarks, thickness, cellulite and all.
You don’t need to lose to gain.
The gift of merely existing is a win – win situation.
